Bohemian inspired dresses have been on the rise for quite some time now and not about to disappear any time soon. Not in my wardrobe anyway, because dancing through fields of white blossoms would just not be the same when pictured in smart casual or perhaps a skinny jean. Boho adheres to a sense of freedom considering
the loose casual fit of a bohemian dress or perhaps just a caftan, while still being in the fashion loop.
In my opinion it is important to wear something that is comfortable and makes you feel good rather than something being way out but on trend. For instance the white button shirt that has been receiving all the hype lately, which is all good but when worn backwards with sleeves over passing your hands, stretching towards your knees as you make an exit from the insane asylum,
now that makes no sense at all.
And the fashion gods have spoken, as a bohemian spirit breezed through Milan fashion week as the boho trend was seen on top runway shows from Roberta Cavalli, Pholosophy di Lorenzo Serafini to Alberta Ferreti and Missoni, all but with a twist. If you ask me I think the bohemian look is here to stay.
And on to this beautiful orange/red dress from none other than My Scattered Heart, an online boutique based in Cape town, selling everything boho and beautiful. If you haven’t started following the trend I think My Scattered Heart would be a good place to start.
