Oh what to wear for the next festival?

November 1, 2017

When receiving hand crafted, nature inspired jewellery pieces like the following from Folkloriikka, I quickly developed an inclination to go to a festival, dance with flowers in my hair, discover how it feels to be young again.. And too brag about these one of a kind pieces of art.;) So off to Lamaland I went, a small intimate festival next to the coast off Pringle bay, and thus the beginning of my little impromptu shoot, a very first blog post containing someone else in front of the camera for a change.

Folkloriikka is unique hand crafted jewellery pieces launched by Simone Toerien in 2013,

The word, Folkloriikka, is Finnish for “the study of folklore”. Simone chose it to represent both her love of Scandinavian design and her fascination with myths, tales and folklore. With each piece she aims to bring these stories to life by spending a wealth of time carving and etching the intricate details, before they are cast in sterling silver or bronze.”

A consolidation to ones love for nature and the best justification to treat yourself in the arising torrid summer days.
